Under broad guidance, the Industrial Hygienist is responsible for: a. Performing safety inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations b. Developing, implementing and promoting safety programs and procedures c. Conducting safety and health training programs for supervisors and employees d. Monitoring exposure to hazardous materials, investigating accidents involving HRSD employees or equipment, and recommending appropriate corrective action to supervisors e.
