Postdoctoral Position on Nitrogen Fixation on Maize and Sorghum Aerial Roots
A postdoctoral position is available in Dr. Jean-Michel Ané’s laboratory (http://anelab.wisc.edu/) in the departments of Bacteriology and Agronomy at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. The postdoctoral researcher will be part of an interdisciplinary team studying nitrogen fixation in the mucilage produced by maize and sorghum aerial roots. The postdoctoral researcher will characterize the mucilage production and degradation mechanisms and nitrogen uptake using genetics and single-cell/nuclei “omic” approaches. The researcher will be involved in interdisciplinary collaborations
