Our GO Expansion & Transformation Operations Performance Management Office is seeking a Senior Performance Advisor to support continuous improvement for the GO Rail and GO Bus Services and monitor the performance of the GO Transit rail system.
What will I be doing?
Monitor special service and plan effectiveness.
Investigate operating problems by liaising with contract operators to determine basic causes, recommend effective remedial action and feasible preventative actions.
Develop and provide management with service performance reports (e.g. on-time performance, and analysis of delay trends) to identify negative trends and improvement concerning types of delay, specific train delays and corridor problems.
Monitor and analyze performance of GO Rail and GO Bus relating to schedule adherence and operational performance targets.
Monitor trends of rail and bus activity over all subdivisions to predict impacts on current and proposed schedules and related budgets.
What skills & qualifications do I need?
Completion of a diploma in Business Administration or related field – or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
Minimum four (4) years’ progressive experience supervising and monitoring rail/bus operations services, preferably in a public transit environment.
Knowledge and experiences in business intelligence application (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik Sense) and data analytics is considered an asset
