Responsible for performing final and in-process inspections of cables, wire harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies in a contract manufacturing environment. Must be able to read and understanding blueprint and wiring diagram. Support and perform First Article Inspection of cable and Harness assemblies. Good metrology skills understanding standard measuring equipment like caliper, micrometer, etc. and ANSIY14.5. Have at least 3 years’ experience in the Quality Inspection Department supporting Quality related duties and dealing with Non-conforming materials. Good understanding with Wires and Harness manufacturing or certified to IPC-WHMA-620. Be able to support Receiving Inspection when needed. Knowledgeable in Sampling Plan. Demonstrate computer literacy (especially Microsoft Office). Must be proficient in the English language.
