The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo invites applications for a full-time postdoctoral position in water resources engineering for the 2018-19 academic year. This position encompasses approx. 80% teaching and 20% research responsibilities for one academic year. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to develop a graduate-level class in their area of expertise. Industry experience and previous teaching experience are desirable but not required. Please specify area of expertise and teaching experience in cover letter.

Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo is a mid-sized, primarily undergraduate university in the California State University System. The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering has two separate B.S. degree programs with approximately 800 undergraduate students in the Civil Engineering Program and 200 in the Environmental Engineering Program. Both programs are ABET accredited. The Department also offers M.S. degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
